to qualify for the upcoming Regional Contest, November 6-8 2009, in Nürnberg, Germany.

Datavetenskaps programmeringstävling is part of the ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC), which is a
world-wide contest for students with local and regional events, and a world final. The contest is about programming skills, problem solving and teamwork.
The ICPC is very large. Last year, over 7000 teams from more than 1800 universities in 88 countries competed in the contests
which lead up to the World Finals in Stockholm, Sweden(!), where 100 teams from all over the world competed.
Three teams from our region made it all the way to the World Finals where Oxford finished in 5th place, Cambridge tied 20th place and KTH tied 34th place!!!
In 2003 and 2004 the Department of Computer Science also hosted the Regional Contest:
